If the EVA Booster Certification is not received by February 01, 2022,
your stallion’s status will be changed to INACTIVE for the New Mexico Bred program, and any resulting foals will NOT be eligible for the New Mexico Bred program.
For a stallion to be Re-activated in the New Mexico Stallion Registry, there will be a Re-Activation fee of $200.00, and the stallion must have a negative EVA test
and vaccinated for EVA within ten days of the negative test.
Once appropriate documentation is received in the NMHBA office,
any 2023 foal(s) may then be registered as New Mexico Bred. However, PENALTIES WILL APPLY.
Contact the New Mexico Livestock Board at (505) 841-6161 for requirements and any questions regarding the isolation of your stallion.
