Political Thinker pulled off the biggest upset of all the stakes at Ruidoso Downs during All American weekend. Originally not
even on the list of three year olds qualified to the Sept. 4 All American Invitational, Political Thinker not only got into the field, but he won at 20-1 odds.
Ridden by jockey Noe Garcia Jr. from the rail post position, Political Thinker broke well and went right to the front in the Alll American Invitational.
One Slick V closed ground approaching the wire, but Political Thinker held him off to score by a head in :21.059 for 440 yards. The sorrel gelding was never headed in the event.
Jesus Soto owns and trains Political Thinker, who sold for $100,000 out of the Lazy E Ranch consignment at the 2020 Ruidoso Select Sale to Scott Bryant.
Political Thinker began his career in Bryant’s colors. In his debut, he finished second to Miss Beth Dutton in a trial for the
