H Senor Milagro has won his last three out of
five starts as well as his last two in a row. His latest victory came in the De Saix Stakes at Delta Downs, a 350-yard event that carried a total purse worth $30,000.
The gelding broke second from the 3-post with Guadalupe Lucio Jr. in the saddle. They didn’t get the first call but within a few strides they had a 1/2-length on the field. At the mid-point, Guadalupe knew the race was in hand and they coasted to a 1-length victory stopping the clock at 16.925 to earn an 83 speed index.
The gelded son of Mr Piloto also earned the first place check worth $18,000. His lifetime earnings now stands at $50,600 for owner Cuadra Herradura LLC. Miguel Pizana is in charge of conditioning.
RH Senor Milagro was bred in Louisiana by Rancho Herradura LLC out of the mare Miss Mandy Marie. She is a ROM earner and she made over $22,000 back in her running days. She has produced four foals and RH Senor Milagro is her best product.
Konnan Cartel (Five Bar Cartel-Jet Black Chiraq) broke on the lead and jockey Ubaldo Luna held a tight right rein and offered plenty of hustle and they were able to get up for second place. Connections include owner Dania Castellanos and trainer Kenneth L Roberts. JL Apollitical Miss (Apollitical Blood-Special Sultry Miss) overcame
a poor start with a late rush and finished third for owner Josefina Guzman. Josue Ponce is in charge
of conditioning with Victor Urieta Jr. in the saddle. Followed by Mollys Leaving You (Coronas Leaving You-Ms Maggies First), Jrs Tonyas Majestic (Majestic Cartel-Tonyas Statement), Lookin Fast N Famous (Fast N Famous Eagle-Hcs Lookin For Gold), JLC Payaso Ed (Strawflys Eagle-BT Flair) & Bayou

ild Train Fortune registered the initial stakes
win of her career in a wild, blanket finish in the $30,000 LQHBA Sale Debutante Stakes at Delta Downs on Sept. 3.
With jockey Juan Garcia Jr. aboard, Wild Train Fortune raced in mid-pack early in the 350-yard dash. With a strong late rally, the bay filly collared the early leaders in the lane and prevailed by a head in a dramatic 5-horse blanket finish. In winning her stakes debut, Wild Train Fortune stopped the timer in :17.773 over a muddy (sealed) track, earning a speed index of 84.
Owned by Riley Blanchet & Rodney Verret, Wild Train Fortune is trained by Kenneth Roberts Sr., who also saddled runner-up RF Debs Dash
N Blue. The $18,000 winner’s share of the purse increased Wild Train Fortune’s coffers to $28,530. Bred in Louisiana by Riley Blanchet, the filly is out of multiple stakes-winner Cartels Fortune.

ince stretching out to 870 yards, One Fast Cajun
has found his wheelhouse. Never off the board in five starts at the marathon distance heading into the Faubourg St. John Stakes, the 4-year-old gelding enhanced his record on Sept. 3 with a convincing score in the 870-yard stakes event at Delta Downs.
Ridden by Ubaldo Luna, One Fast Cajun assumed command after the break and dueled with Masons Jet Black through the early stages. After putting that rival away, One Fast Cajun shook clear in the stretch, opening a 2-length advantage. He rolled to the wire unchallenged by a dominating 4 3/4-lengths at the finish. One Fast Cajun stopped the timer in :46.099 and earned a speed index of 94.
With the wire-to-wire victory, One Fast Cajun is now a 3-time winner at 870-yards. All told, he improved his record to 13-3-2-2 and the $18,000 winner’s share of the purse increased his bankroll to $78,210. He finished third behind Masons Jet Black in the Live Oak Stakes in his previous outing.
Owned by Darrin Ladner and Norman Ladner, One Fast Cajun is trained by Danny Hoda. Bred in Louisiana by Terry Gabriel, One Fast Cajun is out of the Thoroughbred mare Cajun Rocket.
Runner-up Masons Jet Black (Jet Black Patriot- Ruston Kitty-TB), ridden by Pauline Ramirez, proved no match for the winner late but held second for owner Gidget Dugas and trainer Juan Cano. The multiple stakes winner was bred in Louisiana by Trey Ellis.
Jess Louisiana Boo (Jess Louisiana Blue-La Boo Con) and jockey Bento Baca bumped, steadied, and rallied late for third. The 7-year-old gelding is a homebred for Paul Daigle and is conditioned by Phillip Calais Jr.
Streak Of Music (Miracle Streak-Wire Me Music-TB), Lolas Lil Ed (Divide the Cash-Loretta Loretta), and Freighttrain Z (Freighttrain B-Z Smoke-TB) completed the order of finsh.
