Félix Bañuelos Jiménez Classic
A NEW DYNASTY

 With the scratch of DBL Prize from Cuadra H-R, the tenth edition of this race was run with just four three-year-old participants, all bred in the United States. The purse was $248,500 pesos ($12,256 U.S. approx.), over a distance of 300 yards.
At the start, Island Candy (#4) made contact with Player X Three (#3) multiple times, and in turn made contact with A New Dynasty (#2) as well. A New Dynasty gained a slight advantage over those two and he maintained the lead until crossing the finish line with a head margin of victory in :14.92 for a 92 speed index.
Leonardo Vidaña’s skillful riding also con- tributed to this victory. At the end of the race, the judges disqualified Island Candy to third place and promoted Player X Three to second.
It was a successful debut for A New Dynasty, a three-year-old bay colt bred by McColee Land and Livestock LLC. He is a son of the stallion FDD Dynasty and out of the
mare Famous Little Reba, a daughter of One Famous Eagle.
He is owned by Cuadra Baldeli and his trainer is José Guadalupe “Lupillo” García, who in this classic was represented by coach José Luis Alejo Cruz.
For this first victory, A New Dynasty was paid $124,250 pesos ($6,128 U.S. approx.).
After the aforementioned disqualification, the order of arrival was as follows: Player X Three (Mr Jess Perry-Mischievous Player) in second place under the direction of Mario Alberto López Marmolejo. He is owned by Cuadra Bronco Rider and is trained by Ismael Parra Martínez.
In third place was Island Candy (PYC Paint Your Wagon-Eye On This Candy) with jockey Arturo Vega. He is owned by the Cuadra Cartas Blancas, where he is trained by José Eduardo Baltazar Carmona.
FDD Zoomin Doll (FDD Dynasty-Zoomin Doll) completed the order of finish under José
Manuel Cisneros for owner Cuadra Avar and trainer Hugo Estrada López.

Con el retiro de la potranca DBL Prize, de la Cuadra H-R, la décima edición de este clásico se jugó con un reducido número de cuatro participantes de tres años, todos criados en los Estados Unidos. La bolsa recaudada fue de $248,500 pesos ($12,256 US aproximadamente), sobre distancia de 300 yardas.
En la salida, el tordillo Island Candy (#4) se recargó en tres ocasiones sobre Player X Three (#3), y este a su vez sobre A New Dynasty (#2), después de lo cual continuaron su carrera con leve ventaja de este último sobre los dos mencionados, la cual mantuvo hasta cruzar la meta con diferencia de cabeza, para lo cual dispuso solamente de 14.92 segundos, SI 92.
