Some examples of Apollitical Jess being the sire and Tres Seis being the broodmare sire include:
Celtic Emblem, shown winning the Easy Jet Stakes-RG3.
Apollitical Pence, shown winning the Heritage Place Derby.
Tough To Bee, shown winning the First Down Dash Stakes.
DF AJ Green Leaves, shown winning the Remington Park Derby.
DF Lord Garvan, shown winning the Boyd Morris Memorial.
A Delightful Dasher, winner of the
1999 All American Futurity-G1, 1999 Rainbow Futurity-G1, 1999 Golden
State Futurity-G1 and 2000 All American Derby-G1. He was the Champion Two Year Old and Champion Two-Year-Old Gelding. A Delightful Legacy was the third stakes winner for Fortune Of Delight with a win in the 2003 All American Juvenile Invitational-RG3. She is the dam of three stakes winners including Inseperable, the 2009 Champion Three Year Old and Champion Three-Year-Old Colt. Her other two stakes winners are Seperate Interest,
a multiple stakes winner including the Kaweah Bar Handicap-G3; and Tell Of The Past, winner of the Los Alamitos Juvenile Challenge Championship. The fourth stakes winner out of Fortune Of Delight
is Buckshot Delight, a winner of the La Mariposa Handicap-G3. The fifth stakes winner out of Fortune Of Delight was Indeed A Delight, winner of the Rainbow Juvenile Invitational Stakes.
Dean Miracle by Streakin Six is
the third stakes winner and the other Champion produced by Our Third Delight. He was the 1998 Champion Aged Stallion. He earned $199,601 running in
14 stakes races, winning two and placing second or third in eight more of these stakes races. His stakes wins were the B. F. Phillips Jr. Handicap and First Down Dash Handicap. He was second in such races as the 1996 Rainbow Futurity-G1 and the 1998 All American Gold Cup.
When we look at the sire record for Apollitical Jess, we see that a stallion
with his kind of success has to cross with many broodmare sires. One of those good crosses is with Tres Seis as the broodmare sire. Here are some examples. Apollitical Pence, ($1,127,701), winner of the
2020 Champion of Champions-G1 out
of the mare Send City. Tough To Bee, ($738,938), winner of the 2017 Ruidoso Derby-G1 out of Peppermint Seis. Celtic Emblem ($577,377), winner of the Easy
Jet Stakes-RG3 and second in the 2016 All American Derby-G1; DF AJ Green Leaves, ($302,494), winner of the Remington
Park Oklahoma Bred Derby; and DF Lord Garvan, ($90,278), winner of the Boyd Morris Memorial Handicap, are full brother and sisters out of Three Green Leaves.
As And Js ($531,599), winner of the 2019 Juno’s Request Stakes-G2 is out of Adolph Tres Knockout. Dreams Divine ($408,209),
winner of the 2020 Los Alamitos Oaks, and Splendid Cause ($167,377), winner of the 2020 Will Rogers Distaff Challenge-G3, are out of Answer The Dream. Politicaly Correct, ($374,234), winner of the 2015 Oklahoma Derby is out of Senorita Tres. Apollitical Papa ($124,152), winner of
the 2021 Turf Paradise 250 Final is out of Sissys Tres Girl. Jess Un Sies Mas ($81,640), winner of the 2019 Rocky Mountain Derby out of Seis Star Glitter. This list of stakes winners does not include several of his stakes placed runners and some of those could be full siblings to these runners. But these 11 stakes winners represent 12.5% of his total stakes winners and they all carry
a 4x4 breeding pattern to Streakin Six, the horse John Lee likes to see in his racehorse pedigrees just like in KJ Desperado.
It has been a very interesting
summer at Ruidoso Downs. We had two opportunities to see a potential Triple Crown winner with Jess Savin Candy and Empressum. But KJ Desparado got a clean trip to show his true ability as a racehorse and fulfill the All American Dream for
his connections. Congratulations KJ Desparado on your joining the illusive All American Dream Club.
