Graduate of Eastern Kentucky University and Southwest Bible College & Seminary. Former Executive Director for Local Development
in the office of the Governor of Kentucky. Former account/program manager at Johnson Controls and Asahi Glass Corporation.
HOBBIES:
As he says on his bio on the Race Track Chaplaincy of America website, “Hiking, mountain biking, golf, fishing, and running the occasional 5K (for the t-shirt).”
It’s been a long and winding road for Dan Waits, but he
couldn’t be happier with the destination. After significant experience in the corporate world while also working as

a pastor for a church
in the Lexington
area, Waits joined up with the Race Track Chaplaincy of America, where he still serves as Executive Director.
“It’s been kind of a journey equipping me for this role,” Waits said. “I think every place that I’ve been, has trained me to what I’m doing now.
“I was in the automotive world, and then a pastor and
church staffer as well. I truly believe with my background, I was able to bring the things to the table that RTC needed, that benefit the RTC network.
“We’ve got a lot of great board members,
