                The 2020-2021 Chariot World Championship was decided on March 28 at Star Valley in Afton, Wyoming. The Championship event moved from Utah to Wyoming due to COVID restrictions. The teams ran in their respective divisions, with the top four teams from the first division competing for the title of World Champion.
The Championship finals con- sisted of JRP Racing Team with horses Namgispoliticaltease and
EC Cartel; team Jenson Ropelato and Padgett with BD Illusion and Circle Da Wagons; team Hadley
and C3 Ranch with runners Front And Center and PF Flyair; and
team Hadley and Elison with TM Daymoney and Our Little Diamond.
The four teams were led to the gates for the final Championship run with each team breaking well from the gates and fighting a close race. It was the Hadley & C3 Ranch in the
lead, but JRP Racing made a driving finish under driver Bruce Jenson to take home the World Championship title, finishing the 400 yards in :22.082 by 1 1/2-lengths.
Finishing in second was team Jenson Ropelato and Padgett, consist- ing of BD Illusion (Bodacious Dash- Effortless Illusion) and Circle Da Wagons (PYC Paint Your Wagon-Ima Perry Girl), who finished in :22.35 with Clay Walker driving the team for trainer Scott Jenson.
Third place went to the Hadley and C3 Ranch team of PF Flyair (Dashair- Pretty N Famous) and Front And Center (Walk Thru Fire-Katie Katella), who crossed the wire in :22.39 under driver/trainer Jordan Hadley.
Fourth place went to the Hadley and Elison team of TM Daymoney (Fast Prize Dash-Cashs Tres) and Our Little Diamond (Favorite Cartel- Impassion Queen) under Tyson Lusk for trainer Jordan Hadley.
The 2021 World Championship JRP Racing team is conditioned by Tony Jenson and was driven by Bruce Jenson.
The JRP Racing team included: 7-year-old sorrel gelding Namgispoliticaltease (Apollitical Jess-Tease Please, Okey Dokey Dale), a 2-time winner on the flat track with a career best 93 speed index and cumulative earnings of $13,695 before moving to chari- ots; and 12-year-old bay gelding EC Cartel (Tinys First Corona- Twayna Too, Zevi TB), who
won eight races on the flat track, including the Lone Star Distance Challenge, IP 870 Stakes and
Q Racing Video Distance Stakes, with a career-best 105 speed index and total earnings of $113,523 before moving to chariots.
JRP Racing can now add the title of World Champion to their list of accomplishments. Congratulations!
 Namgispoliticaltease & EC Cartel are joined by team JRP Racing along with runner-up team Jenson/Ropelato/Padgett with runners BD Illusion and Circle Da Wagons.
