Speedhorse Paint & Appaloosa Triple Crown Hi-Point Champion

PFR Quickwire (#6) in the lead and finishing second in his May 14 Speedhorse Graham Paint & Appaloosa Futurity trial at Remington Park.
 PFR Quickwire was named the 2022 Speedhorse Paint & Appaloosa Triple Crown Hi-Point Champion on Nov. 15 following a third-place finish under Jesus Salazar in the $43,433 Speedhorse Paint & Appaloosa Championship Futurity-G1, the third leg of the Speedhorse Paint & Appaloosa Triple Crown.
PFR Quickwire finished second in the first leg of the Speedhorse Triple Crown – the $236,850 Speedhorse Graham Paint & Appaloosa Futurity-G1 at Remington Park on May
28. PFR Quickwire then finished fifth after running in tight quarters in the $74,267 Speedhorse Paint & Appaloosa Futurity-G1 – the second leg at Tulsa Fair Meadows on July 23.
PFR Quickwire (CRM Livewire-Quick Caydee, Country Quick Dash) was ridden by James Flores in the first and third leg, while Andrew Samaniego rode him in the second leg. He was trained by Dee Keener for owner Painted Faith Racing in all three of his Speedhorse Triple Crown races. The 2-year- old gelding was bred by Wendy Ingersoll. PFR Quickwire’s winning owners received a trophy and belt buckle as well as an additional $5,000 Hi-Point Champion bonus from Speedhorse Magazine.
PFR Quickwire scored a total of 23 points to take the Speedhorse Paint & Appaloosa Triple Crown Hi-Point Champion title, in which eligible horses must enter the trials of all three races and must compete in two of the three trials.
In his 2022 season, PFR Quickwire also finished fifth in the $30,000 Oklahoma Paint & Appaloosa Juvenile
at Remington Park and he most recently qualified to
the $70,000 estimated Texas Hero Paint & Appaloosa Futurity-G1 to be run Lone Star Park on Dec. 17.
PFR Quickwire winning his Oct. 23 Speedhorse Paint & Appaloosa Championship Futurity trial by 1/2-length at Will Rogers Downs.
 PFR Quickwire and connections Dee & Wendy Keener being presented the Speedhorse Paint & Appaloosa Triple Crown Hi-Point Champion trophy by John Bachelor.
