When I asked Steve about Wheel
Six Fortunes, the dam of Audacious, he responded, “Audacious is out of Wheel Six Fortunes, a Marthas Six Moons
mare. Audacious has been one of the
top producing mares out of that mare and I also know that Kiss This Goodbye is a pretty good mare out of Wheel Six Fortunes, and she is the dam of Kiss This Chrome and Sayonara.”
Wheel Six Fortunes is a non-winner of six races with one second. She is the dam of six APHA starters and one AQHA starter with six ROM and three stakes winners. Her stakes winners, in addition to Audacious, are Wheels Lineage, winner of the 2000 Pot O’ Gold Futurity, and Kiss This Goodbye, winner of the OHA Paint & Appaloosa Futurity.
The two mares that Wright referenced above, Kiss This Chrome and Sayonara, are both stakes winners out of Kiss This Goodbye. Kiss This
Chrome is the winner of the 2008
Tulsa State Fair Stakes-G2 and 2-time Champion Sayonara is the winner of
the Speedhorse Paint & Appaloosa Derby-RG1. Sayonara is the dam of PHQ Goodbye Earl, a 5-time stakes winner including the 2016 Graham Speedhorse Futurity-G1, 2017 Graham Speedhorse Paint & Appaloosa Derby-G1, 2016 PSBA Futurity-G1 and 2017 PSBA Derby-G1. This gelding was the 2016 APHA Champion Running Breeding Stock Two Year Old and Two-Year-Old Gelding,
the 2017 APHA Champion Running Breeding Stock Three Year Old and Three-Year Old Gelding, the 2018 APHA Running Breeding Stock Aged Gelding and Champion Distance Horse. Kiss This Goodbye is also the dam of Barracuda,
a stakes winning son of Judys Lineage. This makes Barracuda a 3/4-brother to Audacious. He is currently stands #3 on the 2022 leading sire of money winners list with 11 starters earning $140,838 including RP Barracuda Dash, winner of the 2022 Tulsa State Fair Stakes.
Wheel Six Fortunes is sired by Marthas Six Moons, who is out of a dam by Lady Bug’s Moon, and Wheel Six Fortunes is out of Miss Wheel A Fortune by The Wheel Horse by Easy Jet. The dam of Miss Wheel A Fortune is Aamazing Varvel by Fast Fellow.
The sire of Audacious is Judy’s Lineage, a stakes winner with $45,448
in earnings. He won nine starts with three seconds and two thirds. His
stakes wins came in the APHA National Championship Futurity, Paint The Town Futurity, Speedhorse Gold & Silver Sprint Derby and Lorelei Paint Derby. He was the APHA Champion Running Three
