Holiday shopping at Park Meadows Retail Resort will be easier this year as traffic improvements are wrapping up near the northern mall entrance off of County Line Road.
According to Pam Kelly, senior general manager at Park Meadows, “The County Line Road project has been a decade in the making. We
are very thankful that Douglas County, Lone Tree and the Park Meadows Metro District have come together to improve the traffic on County Line Road and I-25, as well as the entrance in and out of Park Meadows. This project will
be complete the first part of November with a left turn signal light and additional lanes. We are pleased to say in time to make it easier and better to shop this holiday season at Park Meadows.”
Phase II will be completed next year when the permanent traffic light and additional lanes will be in ready. Director of Public Works for the City of Lone Tree, John Cotten, commented, “We are getting everything in place now for
the final improvements that will take place next year. The current improvements should be completed by November 1. We are real close!”
The P.F. Changs entrance will now have a temporary traffic light to get cars in and out of Park Meadows easier, as well as additional traffic lanes at that entrance.
If you ave driven near Park Meadows Retail Resort recently, you are undoubtedly aware of road improvements going on to County Line Road just north of the mall. Good news! Phase I should be completed by the end of the month, thanks to the partnership between Douglas County, Park Meadows Metropolitan District and the City of Lone Tree.
The focus of the improvements is to reduce congestion, improve traffic flow and increase safety. An additional inbound and outbound traffic lane at the entrance adjacent to P.F. Changs restaurant, as well as a temporary traffic signal for entering and exiting the location at that location, should be functional by November 1.
