Tra c slated to improve in time for holiday shopping

According to Pam Kelly, senior general manager at Park Meadows, “The County Line Road project has been a decade in the making. We
are very thankful that Douglas County, Lone Tree and the Park Meadows Metro District have come together to improve the tra c on County Line Road and I-25, as well as the entrance in and out of Park Meadows. This project will
be complete the rst part of November with a left turn signal light and additional lanes. We are pleased to say in time to make it easier and better to shop this holiday season at Park Meadows.”
Phase II will be nalized next year when the permanent tra c light and additional lanes will be complete. Director of Public Works for the City of Lone Tree, John Cotten, commented, “We are getting everything in place now for
the nal improvements that will take place next year. The current improvements should be completed by November 1. We are real close!”
The P.F. Changs entrance will now have a temporary tra c light to allow cars in and out of Park Meadows easier, as well as additional tra c lanes at that entrance.
Holiday shopping at Park Meadows Retail Resort will be easier this year as tra c improvements are wrapping up near the north entrance o of County Line Road.
If you have driven near Park Meadows Retail Resort recently, you are undoubtedly aware
of road improvements being made to County Line Road. Good news! Phase I should be completed by the end of the month, thanks to the partnership between Douglas County, Park Meadows Metropolitan District and the City of Lone Tree.
The focus of the improvements is to reduce congestion, improve tra c ow and increase safety. An additional inbound and outbound tra c lane at the entrance adjacent to P.F. Changs restaurant, as well as a temporary tra c signal for entering and exiting the location at that location, should be functional by November 1.
