The members of the Castle Pines Bunco group have been meeting
for roughly10 years, and each December they choose a cause they believe in and make a donation. This holiday season, the group chose HOPE Online Learning Academy Co-Op (HOPE), a charter school
of the Douglas County School District which operates 23 locations throughout the state, serving 2,000 students in grades k-12.
Holiday gifts were purchased, wrapped and given with love to two families. Amanda Kalina, communications manager for HOPE said, “HOPE is thankful to the Colorado community for their generosity this holiday season! With their help, we were able to provide holiday gifts to more than 500 HOPE students or their siblings who needed assistance. There were hundreds of local donors to this project!”
HOPE’s learning model is focused on collaborating with stakeholders to build stronger communities. They believe that academic progress can be made when you also support the social and emotional needs
of students and their families. Enrollment for the 2019/2020 school year will be opening soon. HOPE’s specialties include small class sizes and one-on-one attention to help nd a way every student can succeed. To learn more, visit www.hopeonline.org.
