Construction of the Legacy Village of Castle Pines development at the northwest corner of Castle Pines Parkway and Monarch Boulevard in the City of Castle Pines o cially began in August 2016 and is expected to be open for occupancy by April 2018. The senior living facility includes 177 units with
66 independent living, 80 assisted living and 31 memory care units. Legacy Village currently has a sales trailer on site and is accepting deposits.
According to City Community Development Director Sam Bishop, “At this point, their progress is largely based on weather and sequencing of labor and materials.” Bishop stated that while traditionally, development activities tend to slow over the winter, Legacy Village appears to be on schedule.
