Top 5 Colors to Influence 2020 from Coloro and WGSN

• Movement to Warm Up; Brown is Back!!! Multiple ranges of brown as well as other colors that have more brown as their base
• Coloro x WGSN teamed up to endorse 5 colors that are key for 2020 and beyond throughout fashion and textiles....and beyond. We will see these colors emerge in Home as accents first and eventually more
• Color continues to be reflective of Nature and Nature Inspired
• As part of the return to Nature, Greens & Blues are prevalent
• AkzoNobel stands behind Tranquil Dawn, inspired by the morning sky
and for making positive human connections.
• Sherwin Williams claimed Naval SW6244 as their color of the year citing
“2020 places an importance on biophilia – our intrinsic need as humans to interact with nature. The inclusion of live greenery and mineral based materials like marble, allow us to create a natural sanctuary that encourages rejuvenation in your everyday life. It’s about slowing down to appreciate the beauty in nature and how you can bring it indoors.”
• HGTV proclaimed Romance (SW 6323) their color of year showing that Glamour is still alive. Pinks have darkened and mixed with browns to become neutrals instead of pop/trend colors.
• Benjamin Moore builds on this with their First Light (2102-70). A pink
base that is refreshing, uplifting and “floats between warm and
cool”
