         GALLBLADDER CARCINOMA
▪ Sonographically, the gallbladder carcinoma that of a distinct non-mobile, hypoechoic mass within the lumen of the gallbladder or as diffuse wall thickening.
– An irregular polypoid mass may also completely fill the gallbladder.
– Gallbladder carcinoma is highly suspected when a polyp measures greater than 2 cm.
▪ Most common metastatic disease of the gallbladder is malignant melanoma. It may appear similar to primary gallbladder carcinoma.
