THE CEREBELLUM
The cerebellum is located in the posterior fossa of the cranium.
The cerebellum consists of two hemispheres, right and left, that
are coupled at the midline by the cerebellar vermis.
The cerebellar tonsils, named for their shape, are located on the undersurface of the cerebellum and become distorted in the presence of spina bifida and Arnold-Chiari malformations.
