Celebrate, a daughter of Fitting Celebration, is the dam of Wahoo, the 2014 Champion Distance Horse who is sired by Feature Mr Jess by Mr Jess Perry. First To Celebrate
is also the dam of Jettz, third in the 2020 Ruidoso Futurity-G1, and he is sired by One Famous Eagle by Mr Jess Perry.
Shes Jess Special is another mare that reinforces the role of Mr Jess Perry in the Bobby Cox broodmare band as a daughter of Mr Jess Perry out of Special Balance by Special Project. She is the dam of stakes winners Jess Courageous, White Or Wrong, Bye Bye Jess and Shes Jess Dynamite. Her daughter Eye Popping is the dam of Shott Gun, winner of the 2020 Heritage Place Futurity-G1. This gives the Bobby Cox broodmare band four wins in this great race between 2016 and 2020. As an added note, Whistle Stop Cafe won the 2019 Heritage Place Juvenile. Instygator, a half-brother
to Shott Gun, was third in the Heritage Place Futurity-G1, second in both the All American Futurity-G1 and Texas Classic Futurity-G1 in 2020, second in the 2021 Heritage Place Derby-G2.
One last example comes with Fernweh, a 2017 daughter of the Bobby Cox broodmare Jess A Lil Bit More by Mr Jess Perry. This mare won the 2019 Ruidoso Futurity-G1 and the Remington Park Oklahoma Bred Derby-RG2. Jess A Lil Bit More is out of Sheza Lilbituino by Takin On The Cash.
We have been on a long journey delving into the pedigree of Whistle Stop Cafe and her dam Sinuous. It has allowed us, through Sinuous, to go deep into the history of the racing American Quarter Horse to see where it all started by profiling some early breeding programs. This has allowed us to see
