Wednesday, April 26, 1939 God’s plan started and our future began. The matriarch of our family was born. Mama enter the world like all of us, not knowing what this world would have in-store for her.
Ican only imagine how happy Big Mama and Big Daddy were to hold their precious child in their arms. Odessa being their 11th child, they were pros by this time but as we all know there are surprises around every corner when it comes to children. Mama grew up doing a time when black people were looked down on and terrorized.
In 1939 World War II started, Franklin D. Roosevelt was President and the U.S. Population was 130,879,718.
