Ensuring A Successful Workshop..
To get the best value from this workshop, please:
Get plenty of sleep and eat well.
Don't drink alcohol or take recreational drugs during the time you are taking the workshop. A number of the exercises you will be doing are difficult or impossible if done while you are experiencing any lingering effects of mind-altering substances, and could impact the learning experience of your colleagues.
If you are taking medications of any sort please let the trainer know. Many medications do not interfere with concentration, but some make it more difficult to have successful sessions.
If something in your life is bothering you to such a degree that it is hard for you to concentrate during the workshop, please let the trainer know about it.
As you will discover, these guidelines conform to those we set out for our clients in this work. You are not required to receive sessions during this workshop in order to complete it, though we strongly encourage you to take advantage of this opportunity to get your own direct experience of this approach to reducing the effects of traumatic stress and the techniques you will be learning.
