Alpha Africa Fund
The Alpha Africa Fund (“AAF”) is initiated to invest towards the “mobilization capital” across supply chain activities. The Fund provides trade financing to Small and Medium Enterprises (“SMMEs”) in South Africa.
The fund seeks to assist entrepreneurs in obtaining crucial capital that will contribute to their companies’ continual growth in revenues as they obtain purchase order requests from government institutions and private sector clients.
Funding is provided to clients in order to enable them to receive funds that may not be within the risk appetite of traditional lending institutions.
The growth of the SMMEs is key to the development of any economy. In terms of job provision whether it is in a developed or developing economy, SMMEs are in general the highest provider of employment.
