A silicone sauce brush
Bristle brushes are really hard to clean and can harbor patho- genic bacteria. Throw them out and get a good silicone sauce
brush. They are easy to clean, they’re dishwasher safe, and they load up with a lot of sauce.
A good cutting board
We are partial to plastic cutting boards because they can be cleaned in the dishwasher and if they get gouged you can sand them smooth. This double sided one from OXO has grips
