WOW! I know May is National Barbecue Month but this April we have been burning the pit at both ends! I understand busy but this new deal with National Barbecue & Grilling Association has kept us hoping more than Peter Cotton Tail. I can honestly say these past few weeks have been crazy busy but I have loved every bit of it.
Janet and I had faith that NBBQA would gain some momentum with a successful conference in Ft. Worth but never dreamed the phone would keep ringing weeks afterwards. We are most thankful to find ourselves that smokin’ busy!
As we look forward to May we in-
tend on staying as busy as ever as
we have plans to be at Memphis in
May in booth R-068. Drop by and
see us if you have a chance as we
would love to visit with you. We
are hoping to meet up with a new
BBQ friend Kaiden from KB’s
Outdoor Kitchen. This young man
has been working hard to share
some of his recipes and tech-
niques on social media over the
past few weeks. We have enjoyed
watching his videos and can’t wait to meet him personally.
May will also end with the massive Memorial Day celebration. This holiday always has people firing up the grill which keeps us busy with questions and advice on everything you could imagine. Some of those questions are way above my pay grade and I will refer them to the true professionals, but again, I am most thankful to have those with the knowledge in my network.
As summer approaches, I hope you make a ton memories and friends while swimming in smoke from a BBQ pit or blazing hot grill.
Until Next Month...Keep It Smokin'
