Denver Goes Up In Smoke
September 17-19th saw the first ever Denver BBQ Festival held at Empower Field at Mile High Stadium. The event was powered by Ole Hickory Pits. A dozen of the world’s top pitmasters were showcased including John David Wheeler, Leslie Roark Scott, The Black Family from Texas, Mike Johnson & Christina Fitzgerald, James Cruse, Terrance Winters, Harrison Sapp & Griffin Bufkin, David Sandusky, and local favorite Jason Gahahl from GQue BBQ there in Denver.
