Last, but not least, is the great confusion about our possible relationship to William Jennings Bryan. No relationship has caused me as much “whiplash” as this one, not even our relationship to Morgan Bryan and Martha Strode.
The jury is still out about whether or not we are related to William Jennings. It looks very probable that we are NOT related through the male line of Bryans, and so the key to unlocking this mystery might be with the women, once again!
I was very excited when I discovered our relationship to William Bryan, Sr. and Margaret Strode as I had designated William Jennings Bryan’s great grandfather as the William Bryan II who married Margaret Watson!
