PART B: DID WILLIAM BRYAN, SR. HAVE ANY OTHER CHILDREN?
As previously noted, ThruLines has also suggested three other possible children for William Bryan, Sr. through three matches from three distinct trees: Martha Patty Bryan, John Richard Bryan and Bennett Bryan.
The suggested matches are all under 10 cM and could therefore be chance matches or IBC (Identical By Chance), and not IBD (Identical By Descent).
While I enjoy genetic genealogy, I am definitely not a Genetic Genealogist. For more information about the differences between IBC and IBD I refer you to Roberta Estes website: dna-explained.com. Copy and paste the link below.

Of the three possible children of William Bryan, Sr., I find only one to be very compelling, despite the small match.
MARTHA PATTY BRYAN (1734-1795)
There was one possible match to William Bryan, Sr. and Margaret Strode that ThruLines liked immediately, Martha Patty Bryan. While I have not found documentation of her connection to William and Margaret, but we do match one of her descendants.
Martha is the most probable "other" child of William Bryan, Sr. because she married a Bush. Martha married John Phillip Bush III, a half-brother of Phillip Bush, Sr.
Phillip Bush, Sr was married to William Bryan, Sr.'s daughter, Mary Catherine Bryan. This would be a case of two sisters (or half sisters) marrying to half brothers.
It was very common in the 1700's for just a few families to have multiple intermarriages between them. It was slim pickings back then when it came to choosing a life partner.
