Hougen Magnetic Drills
Electrically powered portable magnetic drills for producing holes from 7/16” to
3 1/16” in metals up to 3” thick quickly, accurately, and safely. Can be used hori- zontally, vertically, or overhead. Capable of cutting large diameter holes in light gauge metals, overlapping holes, and cutting holes in pipe and curved surfac- es. All models feature a patented safety shutoff sensor which is activated when unit lifts or shifts, and a torque reactor which resists shifting while cutting.

Hougen Magnetic Drill - HMD904
This economical drill is lightweight and compact. Rear positioned controls are easily accessible and ergonomically designed. Feed handles can be easily switched to either side. A unique safety switch indicator tells the operator when the sensor is engaged, making the drill operational. Uses Hougen “12,000-Series” RotobroachTM Cutters. A Vacuum Base is also available as
an optional attachment that allows for drilling of non-ferrous materials including copper, aluminum, stainless steel, plastics, composites and thin material. Model HMD904S includes swivel base.
Hougen Power Feed Mag Drill
Built on the platform of the HMD904 (Item 71-0901), the HMD925 offers a power feed lever that, once engaged, the power feed circuit automatically senses and adjusts feed control, optimizing the cutter’s performance, hole nish and tool life. It features heavy duty hole making capacity using RotobroachTM Annular Cutters to produce holes from 7/16” to 1 1/4” diameter through materials up to
2” thick in power feed mode. At only 37 lbs., this unit is 20% lighter than other comparable models. Model HMD927.
Magnetic Drill - HMD505
Features a heavy duty two-speed motor for optimum cutting ef ciency and longer tool life. Drills up to 2
3/8” diameter x 3” depth of cut. Powerful dual-coil magnetic base holds secure under the toughest drilling conditions. On-board gravity coolant reservoir can be converted to pressurized operation for horizontal applications. With the coolant bottle and carrying handle removed, the drill is only 15” high. Sturdy carrying case included. Uses standard 12,000 Series Rotobroach® Cutters. Model HMD505.

Hougen Low Pro le Magnetic Drill - HMD130
This ultra-low pro le drill (also known as
a “football drill”) is the perfect solution for drilling holes in tight spaces. A patented quill feed arbor eliminates gibs and slide/way adjustments. Handles operate from either side. Remove the handle, and the hex head allows use of a socket wrench for ratcheting the feed. Two stage magnet. Engages full power only when motor is turned on which increases magnet life.
