NFPA 70E PPE Requirements
Temp-Test® Arc Protection Clothing
NFPA 70E requires workers to be out tted in Flame Resistant Protective Clothing that meets the requirements of ASTM F1506 when there is a possible exposure to Electrical Arc Flash. The short duration and intense energy presents a unique safety hazard. Our Temp- TestTM Electrical Arc Flash Clothing by Stanco is made exclusively from Westex Indura ultra soft fabric which is 88% cotton and 12% high tenacity nylon for protection, comfort and value. All garments are constructed with Full Raglan sleeves for maximum upper body movement. Front, leg and sleeve enclosures are fastened by Velcro. 5-Thread safety stitch throughout assures minimum seam expo- sure. Trim items, such as Velcro Fasteners, Elastic Take-Ups and Thermo Snap Fasteners are ame resistant. Please note the following products are 45 Cal/cm2 (ATP Value=45.0). These products are also available in 11 Cal, 35 Cal, 45 Cal, 59 Cal and 100 Cal.
