Butyl Flange Gasket Tape
B-TAPE is a permanently exible, soft gum tape that is suitable for indoor and outdoor applications.
It will not harden, crack, chalk, or cold ow when exposed to high temperatures. It also has excellent cold temperature adhesion. Used to seal all types of HVAC anged duct systems that require a gasket material or any application where a weather resistant, exible sealing gum is required. Cut to desired length, peel off liner from adhesive back and press onto ange that is free from dirt or oil. Clean up with soap and warm water.
The Cracker
The Cracker is
a non-explosive material that can crack any hard rock or reinforced concrete. With no yrock or
vibration, it is signi cantly safer than traditional demolition methods.
No permits or special pre-conditions are necessary for its use or transportation. Application time is 5 minutes. The Cracker is quiet making it ideal for use in or near occupied buildings. Non-toxic and 100% biodegradable. The Cracker produces no dust, so debris containment is not required. Sold in a 5 KG. Container.

Three Easy Steps...
Demolition with
The Cracker is literally as easy as 1, 2, 3.
1. DRILL: Hole diameters range from 1 1/4" to 1 1/2" with spacing and depth dependent on the strength of
the material. Holes must be completely cleared of dust. Guidelines are provided for speci c hole placement to achieve best cracking patterns.
2. MIX: Following predeterminded guidelines, The Cracker is mixed with water in amounts and at temperatures dependent upon the temperature of the material being broken.
3. POUR: All holes are lled to the
top, beginning with the outer holes and working toward the center. Tarps are recommended if personnel will remain in the area or if the holes will be exposed to rain or sunlight in high temperatures.

Reasons to seal duct work.
Heating and cooling costs for a typical home represent the greatest portions of the home’s energy costs.
Duct leakage robs a home of the energy expended to heat or cool the home, and causes pollutants to be drawn into the home. Leaking ductwork often accounts for up to 30% of total heating and cooling costs. This leakage can account for as much as 50% of a homes total air in ltration. Leaking supply ducts contribute to an increase in energy costs. Duct leakage not only lowers the heating and cooling capacity, but can lessen equipment life as well.
Why duct work may leak.
Most connections are not sealed, not sealed properly, or sealed with a poor quality sealant. Adhesives on duct tapes can also dry out and not provide a good seal. On new construction, duct sealant is about the same cost of a job that is sealed with tape.
Types of duct work that can be sealed.
All types of duct work can have leakage problems, and can be sealed including sheet metal, exible duct and berglass duct board.
Where to use duct sealant.
The connections between air handling units and plenums; all seams, plenums, takeoffs, boots, and other connections; longitudinal seams in spiral duct work; disconnected components; connecting joints between sections of branched duct work.
