Fire Rated Access Doors for Ceilings and Walls
Insulated re rated door for drywall, masonry or plaster. Rated by Underwriters Laboratories for
a 1.5 hour “B” label re rating in walls and by Warnock Hersey for 3 hours in ceilings and 2 hours in walls. Door panel contains two inches
of insulation in sandwich type construction and swings easily to 175° on a continuous hinge. Doors are furnished with automatic closers and are self-latching. Interior latch release allows the door to be opened from the inside. Frame is fabricated from 16 gauge galvanized steel with prime coat nish and provided with masonry anchors and

Drywall Access Doors
Designed for ush installation in drywall ceilings and walls. The ange of the door
is textured and includes a bead so drywall joint compound can be applied in suf cient thickness to conceal ange. Prepunched holes in the ange provide additional “tooth” for the joint compound and facilitate fastening the ange to framing members with drywall screws. Joint compound is applied at the same time drywall joints are nished. The door is held in place by a continuous concealed piano hinge and stainless steel cam-and-stud type catches.
