CENTRAL ARIZONA COLLEGE POLICE AND FIRE TRAINING FACILITY
The Central Arizona College Police and Fire Training Facility project, built for Central Arizona College, included the new construction of 17,424 square foot fire and police training facility on the Signal Peak Campus near Casa Grande, AZ. The 18-acre facility functions as a training area for police officers and firefighters in the areas of search, rescue, firefighting, hazardous materials, EMS management, and public safety. The training facility includes classrooms, office spaces, a command center, restrooms, storage facilities, site utilities, paved roads, and parking lots as well as a driving track for police officers, a burn building for firefighters, Peace Officer Physical Aptitude Test area, and a 24-lane 50-yard outdoor shooting range. The Central Arizona College Police and Fire Training Facility project now supports regional education programs, such as the Central Arizona College Regional Fire Training Academy and the Central Arizona Regional Law Officer Training Academy, for a state-of-the art education and hands-on job training.
