MESA REGIONAL 911 DISPATCH FACILITY
The Mesa Regional 911 Dispatch Facility project, built for the City of Mesa, included the renovation of a 14,821 square foot municipal dispatch and emergency operations center located in Mesa, AZ. The facility houses the City of Mesa’s Fire and Medical emergency communications services. The emergency dispatch center was constructed utilizing a slab-on-grade concrete foundation, tilt-wall concrete structural frame and pre-engineered metal building exterior and roofing materials consisting of styrene butadiene styrene membrane, foam, metal, and plastic polymer polyvinyl chloride. Construction also included the installation an eight foot site wall around the perimeter, millwork additions, and an aluminum storefront. The project included additional workstations, office spaces, fire training room, nurse’s stations, a “quiet room” for dispatchers, and a large panel video wall as well as an upgraded server room, emergency generators, and a UPS set. The Mesa Regional 911 Dispatch project now provides increased emergency support to the community.
