TOWN OF MARANA POLICE HEADQUARTERS
The Town of Marana Police Headquarters project, built for the Town of Marana, included the new construction of a two-story, 42,327 square foot municipal headquarters located in Marana, AZ. The new facility serves as the headquarters for the Marana Police Department and houses the administration, records, and K-9 units with a holding and detection cell block. The municipal headquarters was constructed on a concrete foundation and a steel structural frame. An exterior of glazing, concrete masonry unit block, and tile with a built-up roof completed the construction. The project also features state-of-the-art training facilities with classrooms, a gymnasium, indoor tactical shooting range, and 360-degree virtual training area as well a community room for both government and public meetings and events, a secured parking lot, and a shared courtyard area with the adjacent Marana Civic Complex. The Town of Marana Police Facility project now enables the police department to meet the public safety needs of a growing community with a state-of-the-art professional training and administration facility.
