Let's create our own double number line diagrams.
First, you will follow directions to draw a double number line diagram representing the recipe for art paste.
After that, you will share and compare your diagram with a partner.
Finally, you will use your double number diagram to answer questions about the paste recipe.
   Pacing: 20 minutes for entire activity

In the previous lesson, students were given blank double number line diagrams and were only responsible for labeling them to match the situation.
In this activity, students draw their own double number line diagram from scratch and identify which elements are important to create a useful double number line diagram.
