In 2005 James Harrison a a a a a a young man in his 20’s left Charlotte NC for a a a a a a summer mission trip in in one of the the most difficult and dangerous places in in the the world When he he he he landed in in in Lui Sudan he he fell in in in love with the people and and and pastors experiencing war and and and heartache James built his his home in Kenya and for the next five years he he he he leveraged his his life
to to serve the communities and pastors of East Africa In 2008 James and Frank Harrison began the ministry of With Open Eyes to equip local pastors to to reach the the most remote villages with the the Good News of Jesus However in 2010 James passed away The world around him mourned his death but God continued to to write his story Today the story of James’ life
