NARRATOR
LAND OF SWEETS
In great despair, the SWEETIES silently withdraw into
the forest.
As the troll-princess pulls the barge away, the Mouse
Queen spies the Nutcracker and Clara flying into the
Land of Sweets. She signals for the mice to hide away.
NUTCRACKER
CLARA, CAN YOU SEE?
CLARA, CAN IT BE?
MAGICAL LAND OF SWEETS,
NOW IT'S COVERED IN SNOWY ARMOR. TRAGICAL LAND OF SWEETS,
WHY WOULD ANYONE WANT TO HARM HER? WHERE ARE THE CANDY CANES?
WHY IS IT COVERED IN SNOW?
THERE IS NO SUNSHINE
AND WHERE DID THE FLOWERS ALL GO?
NARRATOR
The mice attack and seize Clara and Nutcracker and throw
them onto the Queen's barge.
Silently, Coffee emerges from the trees and follows the
mice.
The scene changes to a half-eaten castle, where Clara
and the Nutcracker stand trial in the Great Hall.
