the dirt, and giant mice scrounged in trees for something to eat.
And the Mouse Queen knew that Someday had come! “To the Land of Sweets!” she cried.
“To the Land of Sweets!” they all replied.
This started a giant stampede in all directions, until the Mouse Queen whistled through her two fingers and called them all back. Confused and bruised from bumping into each other, the giant mice limped back to the Mouse Queen, who lifted the Nut, Krakatuk, into the air and with a giant sweep of her arm, led them over the hill, toward the Land of Sweets.
