To our darling son and brother,
You will be forever thought of and dearly missed.
Forever in our hearts. Love you always,
Karaitiana family
Mark, you’ve been through some hard times,
and just coming out the other end!
57 years is too young to go. My baby brother,
I will love you and miss you always.
Michael, Mandy and family
To my darling little brother, always and
forever in my heart.
Much loved always,
Leann, Jye, Allan and families
A prayer for my brother
He travels his load, bring him home to safety. And so
he wakes to reload, jumps in the truck, turns Freddy on,
with music to ears for a long so tired days and family
and thoughts to comfort ones tears, then on his way.
So, he pulls up, his rest is near, excited for a drink with
a side of cheers. He managed a safe day for a journey,
not fear. Ready once again for a travelling load. Set
sight and off he goes. For a long haul with safety in
mind, he does what he does, keeping on time.
Sitting strong makes him proud. Thongs on feet, his
trusty old hat, sunnies for shade, singlet and shorts
for a long comfy day. An easy travel. One bag in hold
the house, not home, trucking on the road. He loved to
roam. His final travel short for a trip. Thirst in mind but
can’t have a sip. A soft voice, like a whisper, cries out
“son, its time, its time to come home”. Arms are wide
and they wait. Words speak, with a slight sound. “It’s
your time, time for a break”.
Tight in dad’s arms, ready for sleep, reassurance dad is
here, sleep, boy sleep.
Days over for the travel and thirst, no truck, no load, no
tyres on gravel.
Be at peace, rest, never goodbye, only until we meet
again.
Always know how much you are loved and blessed.
Your big sister.
Thank you to everyone for supporting us
through this difficult time.
Mark, life will never be the same without you.
You’ll always be in our hearts.
Steven and Sarah
