PROGRAM ASSISTANCE
• Program assistance is offered to families who qualify.
• Program assistance applications will be evaluated based on federal poverty guidelines.
• All applications for financial assistance must be completed online at www.bgcs.org/assistance.
• In order for an application to be considered, all requested documentation must be submitted.
• Notifications of assistance qualification will be sent 10 business days after the application is
received.
• Parents/guardians must apply/reapply for financial assistance with all necessary paperwork
annually no later than June 30 of the current calendar year.
• If approved, the tier level of assistance will be applied to all programs the child is participating in
until the following school year begins in August of the following calendar year.
• Membership dues are NON-REFUNDABLE.
• In order to withdrawal from a program without incurring charges, per the parent agreement in Club
Connect, notification in writing must be sent to billing@bgcs.org fifteen (15) days prior to the start
of the program.
• Program refunds will NOT be given after the program has begun. There will be NO partial refunds
or pro-rated fees.
BEHAVIOR POLICY & DISCIPLINARY PHILOSOPHY
Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Scottsdale believes in the full potential of every member, however, in the case that a member breaks our code of conduct, we reserve the right to discipline members in order to redirect the negative behavior and to reinforce our values. In order to best serve and protect the safety of all of our members, our staff members are proponents of using positive guidance and discipline, conflict resolution, and active supervision techniques.
• Club members are expected to conduct themselves in a manner that is consistent with the vision, goals and beliefs of Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Scottsdale.
• Members are prohibited from engaging in behavior that obstructs, disrupts, or interferes with any Club program or activity.
• Members are prohibited from engaging in behavior that endangers or threatens the safety of any person.
• Members are prohibited from engaging in behavior that inflicts or threatens to inflict damage on property of Club members, Club employees or the Club’s facilities & vehicles.
• Members who fail to abide by this general behavioral expectation will be subject to appropriate discipline.
• Repeated behavioral issues will result in suspension or expulsion. ••••
