Amendment in respect of levy of Social Welfare Surcharge [Effective from 02-02-2021]
The concessional rate of SWS on certain goods is being rescinded to make the SWS rate of 10% uniform for all goods.
Marble and Travertine, Crude or roughly trimmed and Marble and Travertine Blocks are being exempted from SWS.
SWS on Agriculture Infrastructure and Development Cess is being exempted in case of Gold and Silver (including Gold and Silver Dore).
