One, Health and Wellbeing
The PM AtmaNirbhar Swasth Bharat Yojana will be launched with an outlay of about
H 64,180 Crs. over six years. The objective: develop primary, secondary and tertiary care health systemic capacities, strengthen national institutions (existing and new) to detect and cure emerging diseases.
H 2.87 lakh Crs. was allocated for Jal Jeevan Mission (Urban) to provide full-fledged piped water supply through urban local bodies.
H 1.41 lakh Crs. was allocated for Urban Swacch Bharat Mission 2.0 to accelerate the cleaning of urban India.
A voluntary vehicle scrapping policy was announced, to remove inefficient vehicles, reduce vehicular pollution and moderate the
oil import bill. H 35,000 Crs. was allocated to manufacture and distribute COVID-19 vaccines.
