Turmeric Broth
Recipe for inflammation, detox, antioxidant and fasting.
RECIPE
Ingredients (Organic)
. 3 x Turmeric root
. Optional ingredients:-
. 1 brown Onion
. 3-5 cloves Garlic
. Teaspoon rock Salt
. 1 bunch Celery
. 1/2 Cabbage
. 1 thumb size Ginger
. 1 Bunch Parsley
. 1 Lemon
. 1 Leek
. 2 Parsnips
. 2 lites of Filtered, bottled or alkaline water
. Tablespoon Extra virgin olive oil or coconut oil Change ingredient quantities to desired taste.
Method
Boil all ingredients in a large pot preferably not peeled unless you don’t like the bitter taste as most of the nutrition is in the skin. Summer - after 90 minutes strain into a container or glass jars (or a mug if having some immediately), once cooled refrigerate then drink as required or takeaway in a thermos. Store for one week or freeze into small one serve BPA free containers and microwave as required or drink chilled on ice.
Enjoy as a snack or for meal replacement. Can use as a stock. Compost veg waste or make a vege pasta bake.
