Chamomile Tea
Herbal Remedy
Used for centuries this naturally grown herb contains apigenin, an antioxidant that binds to certain receptors in our brain that promotes sleepiness, reduces insomnia or chronic inability to sleep & improves quality. Sleep quality reduces anxiety & depression symptoms. Aids digestion, nausea, gas & reducing risk of certain gastrointestinal conditions. It has anti-inflammatory properties. Helpful in preventing stomach ulcers, reduces acidity in the stomach and inhibits growth of bacteria that contribute to ulcer development. RECIPE
Ingredients:-
. Chamomile dried
. Lemon or orange rind
. Honey or Agave if Vegan . Cinnamon or Ginger
. Optional non-dairy milk
Method
Boil in a pot dried flowers, honey, cinnamon, lemon rind for 5 mins. Let tea steep for a min. Strain into glass. Optional non dairy milk. Try it in a latte or smoothie. Enjoy!
