excludes the religious, spiritual, or sacred. That is

because secularism is defined by what it is against, not
                                49
by what it is for. Note the negative overtone of this
social construct…it is “defined by what it is against.”

So, it is within the realm of a secular society that

humanity is defined, categorized, divided, and ultimately
controlled. It is the object of gratuitous praises on

behalf of a secular society by those who unquestionably
embrace it. It is non-discriminatory. It is tolerant of
others. It is inclusive. It offers the best opportunities for

success. Yet, an intellectually honest assessment of
these proposed virtues will find them wanting in

fulfillment. For example, its claim of non-discrimination
is readily contradicted by its view of race. Its claims of

tolerance are equally discredited by the consequences
of its concept of race. Furthermore, how could a secular

society boast its inclusiveness, when its notion of race
deliberately separates and divides humankind? It is this

inherent division among humanity that has the second
and third order effects of perceived or actual inequality

            regarding opportunities for success.

Legendary Preacher Charles Haddon Spurgeon 43 in a

sermon delivered in January 1875 offered the truth of
            the fallacy secularism.
