SECTION V – brings us back to Biblical reality and truth
regarding racial reconciliation, and our leadership role as
Ministers of Reconciliation.
Background - The authors have been individually
burdened by the pervasive race issues that have plagued
our Nation for decades. One might respond, so has
everyone else. While this is true, the authors have been
increasingly focused on the spiritual aspects and how
they differ dramatically from the current culture
perspectives. Our thoughts, observations, and
conclusions are the result of individual life journeys,
study, prayer, and a striking realization that our
collective current paths to racial healing are woefully
inadequate. There must be another way.
In the book, “The Dream King,” Will Ford III and Matt
Lockett paint a lovely word-picture of a beautiful
tapestry woven by ALMIGHTY GOD that comprises our
lives, relationships, journeys, and purpose. It is an
amazing story of how The GREAT I AM established a
divine connection between Will and Matt for a particular
purpose and mission.
Similarly, as we write this book, we believe GOD has
connected us, the authors of this manuscript, for such a
time as this. Coming from different backgrounds,
different geographical parts of the country, different life
