“Dark Realm”. Such skills are only revealed through the
HOLY SPIRIT (I Corinthians 12:1-11). “Spiritual Thinking”
combines a trio of anointed gifts: wisdom, knowledge,
and discernment. These gifts are freely given by the

HOLY SPIRIT (I Corinthians 12:8-10). Those who possess
these gifts embrace these essential traits and habits:

Essential traits of “Spiritual Thinkers”
1. They put GOD first in all they do!
2. Their thinking conforms to GOD’s WORD!

3. They love what GOD loves; hate what GOD hates.
4. They reject all ideologies contrary to GOD’s WORD!
5. They dwell in the Secret Place of the MOST HIGH.

As believers we must challenge ourselves to strive to
think spiritually. “Spiritual Thinking” is Godly thinking.
Scripture declares (1 Corinthians 2:16); “For who has
known the mind and purposes of the LORD, so as to
instruct HIM? But we have the mind of CHRIST [to be

guided by His thoughts and purposes].” How do we
seek the anointing of the gift of “Spiritual Thinking”?

Nurturing “Spiritual Thinking”

1. “Spiritual Thinkers” put GOD first! The first
commandment from GOD is to put nothing ahead of
HIM (Exodus 20:3). HIS ways supersede all political
loyalties, leisure or past-times, race, friends, family
and even our spouses and children. If we put
anything ahead of GOD, we risk creating idols that
can rob us of our anointing. Not only will we forfeit
“Spiritual Thinking”, we risk losing our ability for clear
