Motorboats, yachts and small crafts
SUB-SECTION B – LIABILITY TO THIRD PARTIES (if stated in the Schedule to be included) DEFINED EVENTS
Any accident caused by or through or in connection with any vessel described in the Schedule, in respect of which the Insured and/or any passenger becomes legally liable to pay all sums including claimant’s costs and expenses in respect of:
1. death of or bodily injury to any person, but excluding death of or bodily injury to any person in the employ of the Insured arising from and in the course of such employment or being a member of the same household or family as the Insured;
2. damage to property other than property belonging to the Insured including loss or damage to piers, docks, wharves and jetties and the attempted or actual raising, removal or destruction of the wreck of the vessel or neglect or failure to raise, remove or destroy it or any other damage arising out of the use of or caused by the vessel, trailer or other property described in the Schedule.
The Company will also, in terms of and subject to the limitations of and for the purposes of this Sub-Section:
3. pay all costs and expenses incurred with their written consent, and shall be entitled at their discretion to arrange for representation at any inquest or inquiry in respect of any death which may be the subject of indemnity under this Sub-Section, or for defending in any magistrate’s court any criminal proceedings in respect of any act causing or relating to any event which may be the subject of indemnity under this Sub-Section;
LIMITS OF INDEMNITY
The liability of the Company under this Sub-Section in respect of any one occurrence shall not exceed the limits of indemnity as stated in the Schedule.
SPECIFIC CONDITIONS (applicable to Sub-Section B) 1. In respect of Pleasure Crafts only
The liability of the Company in respect of:
1. accidental death and/or bodily injury, and/or illness and/or
2. accidental loss of or damage to property and/or
3. costs and/or expenses
shall be limited to the sums specified hereunder in respect of any one accident or series of accidents due to or arising out of any one event or occurrence

PROVIDED ALWAYS THAT:
in the event of the Insured becoming liable in respect of claims arising out of one accident or series of accidents due to or arising out of any one event or occurrence involving compensation under more than one Sub-Section of this Section the liability of the Company shall be limited to R2 500 000 (two million five hundred rand) in the aggregate.
