Motor – Comprehensive cover
Keys, locks and remote controls – increased cover
We will pay for the cost of replacing lost or damaged keys, locks and remote controls, including call-out costs of a technician and the reprogramming of any coded alarm system. This will also apply if you have reasonable suspicion that an unauthorised person has access to duplicates.
This is addi onal cover, and applies if the limited cover is not enough to replace your keys, locks or remote controls.
Paying o your vehicle
If your vehicle is a write-o and you are s ll paying it o , we will se le the amount s ll outstanding up to the percentage of the sum insured stated in the Schedule. The amount paid out is calculated as if your credit agreement was an instalment agreement paid in equal instalments over a number of years plus the residual/balloon amount.
It does not include:
○ any arrear instalments or rentals (payments you may have missed as part of your credit agreement), or any interest s ll owing on them
○ any premium refunds or recoveries from any insurance policy. 4 X 4 Cover

Condi ons of use of your vehicle
Applicable only if 4x4 cover is selected
If you have selected 4x4 cover your vehicle may be used for:
○ Private, work, business and 4X4
– private use (social, domes c, pleasure) and all travel to and from work
– travel for business or professional purposes excluding travel for commercial purposes
– full o -road use, conduc ng or guiding of trips on recognised 4X4 o -road trails, overland or safari trips.
Note that the following are excluded:
Ren ng the vehicle out; the carrying of passengers for nancial gain, whether on a fare-paying or hire basis; paid driving instruc on; the carrying of trade samples or goods; racing or speeding of any sort; driving on a course or racetrack, whether as part of an event or not; towing a vehicle for nancial gain; use while the vehicle is overloaded; use of motorcycles, scooters, three-wheeled vehicles, quad-bikes, trailers, caravans, motorised caravans or golf carts for business or commercial purposes; or while in the custody and control of the motor trade for any purpose other than the overhaul, upkeep or repair of the vehicle.
