EnRoute – Personal accident
What we cover you for
Bodily injury
We cover you for bodily injury sustained within the territorial limits that result in:
○ death within 24 months
○ temporary inability to a end to your normal occupa on for a maximum of 52 weeks
○ permanent disability within 24 months
○ permanent disability for any suitable occupa on within 24 months.
We will also pay for actual medical expenses and emergency travel costs incurred as a result of the bodily injury, for up to 24 months.
The bodily injury must have been sustained directly as a result of an event that was clearly violent and accidental.
Disappearance
We will pay out the death bene t if you have disappeared, or are presumed dead by a court of law. There also has to be reasonable evidence that this was as a result of bodily injury as de ned in this sec on.
If you are subsequently found to be alive, the pay-out has to be refunded by the person to whom it was made.
Exposure
We will pay if you are injured as a result of exposure to the elements a er an accident involving the vehicle you are travelling in. Injury here includes the e ects of thirst and starva on.
Trauma counselling
We will pay the bene t stated in the Schedule if you require professional counselling as a result of a violent act of the , hold-up, hijacking or unlawful assault following an accident involving your vehicle.

How it Works
