8.8 It is a requirement that Hollard's contracted rates are being referenced to. (Refer to Procurement Pages at Hollard.co.za)
7. NON-MOTOR SALVAGE
When a claim presents a Non-motor salvage opportunity, the following process needs to be applied:
7.1 If a loss adjuster is appointed they will note the specific salvage and will appoint the correct salvage dealer once the claim has been authorised.
7.2 If there is no loss adjuster appointed then a salvage dealer must be contacted directly with the detail of the salvage to be collected.
7.3 Salvage dealers will be available on Procurement Pages indicating their specialty and area of operation:
• electronics (audio visual, home appliances, etc.)
• cell phones, tablets, laptops and computers
• construction material (roof sheets, garage doors – not rubble)
• furniture and homeware
• gate motors
• office furniture
• geysers.

If assistance is required regarding Non-motor salvage not being listed above, an email should be sent to
procurement@hollard.co.za.
Salvage registers should be kept updated and reconciled monthly.
