One of the biggest reasons I chose Mr. Weber as my Distinguished Educator goes back to my freshman year. We were at the State SkillsUSA Conference in Havre; Mr. Weber was the keynote speaker. I really didn’t know him at the time, but when he got up on the stage I could tell he wasn’t someone who likes the spotlight. The first thing he did was play the song “Humble and Kind” by Tim McGraw. In his speech he talked about always staying humble and about work ethic. Normally a keynote loves to build you up and get you proud about yourself, which is all fine and dandy, but Mr. Weber chose to talk about integrity and being able to look at yourself in the mirror.
We all know that is hard to find in young people today, and that is why I chose Mr. Weber.
